مرحلہ دل کا نہ تسخیر ہوا

تو کہاں آ کے عناں گیر ہوا

کام دنیا کا ہے تیر اندازی

ہم ہوئے یا کوئی نخچیر ہوا

سنگ بنیادی ہیں ہم اس گھر کا

جو کسی طرح نہ تعمیر ہوا

سفر شوق کا حاصل معلوم

راستہ پاؤں کی زنجیر ہوا

عمر بھر جس کی شکایت کی ہے

دل اسی آگ سے اکسیر ہوا

کس سے پوچھیں کہ وہ انداز نظر

کب تبسم ہوا کب تیر ہوا

کون اب داد سخن دے باقیؔ

جس نے دو شعر کہے میرؔ ہوا
