کیوں نہ صدیوں کا سفر ہم کو گوارا ہوتا
اپنی تزئین سے کچھ وقت بچا کر جاناں
میرے ماحول کی زلفوں کو سنوارا ہوتا
اپنے مسند سے ذرا نیچے اتر کر تو نے
ایک لمحہ ہی مرے ساتھ گزارا ہوتا
رک نہ جاتا وہ کسی کوہ گراں کی مانند
تو نے گر وقت کے دریا کو پکارا ہوتا
میرے بے نور دریچوں میں ضیا کی خاطر
کوئی جگنو کوئی سورج کوئی تارا ہوتا
