وہ خوشبو کا جھونکا تھا
چاند کے اجلے چہرے پر
وقت کا گہرا سایہ تھا
پیچھے مڑ کر دیکھنے والا
دور گئے تک رویا تھا
تو بھی تو وہ پڑھ نہ سکا
چہرے پر جو لکھا تھا
کیسے اس کو محو کروں
برسوں جس کو پوجا تھا
تو نے جس کو کاٹ دیا ہے
میں اس پیڑ کا پتا تھا
