بھلا ہم ملے بھی تو کیا ملے وہی دوریاں وہی فاصلے

نہ کبھی ہمارے قدم بڑھے نہ کبھی تمہاری جھجک گئی

ترے ہاتھ سے میرے ہونٹ تک وہی انتظار کی پیاس ہے

مرے نام کی جو شراب تھی کہیں راستے میں چھلک گئی

تجھے بھول جانے کی کوششیں کبھی کامیاب نہ ہو سکیں

تری یاد شاخ گلاب ہے جو ہوا چلی تو لچک گئی
