بیدم شاہ وارثی

یوں گلشن ہستی کی مالی نے بنا ڈالی

پھولوں سے جدا کلیاں کلیوں سے جدا ڈالی

سر رکھ کے ہتھیلی پر اور لخت جگر چن کر

سرکار میں لائے ہیں ارباب وفا ڈالی

رویا کہوں میں اس کو یا مژدۂ بیداری

غل ہے کہ نقاب اس نے چہرے سے اٹھا ڈالی

اللہ رے تصور کی نقاشی و نیرنگی

جب بن گئی اک صورت اک شکل مٹا ڈالی

ساقی نے ستم ڈھایا برسات میں ترسایا

جب فصل بہار آئی دوکان اٹھا ڈالی

خون دل عاشق کے اس قطرے کا کیا کہنا

دنیائے وفا جس نے رنگین بنا ڈالی

بیدمؔ ترے گریہ نے طوفان اٹھا ڈالے

اور نالوں نے دنیا کی بنیاد ہلا ڈالی
