بھرتدیپ ماتھر دیپ
ہمارے دل میں کسی گل بدن کے پیار کے پھول
کہ دسترس میں نہیں ہیں یہ دیودار کے پھول
ترس رہے ہیں کسی لمس معتبر کے لیے
مرے خیال کی شاخوں پے انتظار کے پھول
کسی سے کوئی توقع کا سلسلہ ہی نہیں
بڑے کمال کے ہوتے ہیں خار زار کے پھول
کوئی بھی تجھ پے مری جاں یقین کیوں نہ کرے
ترے کلام سے جھڑتے ہیں اعتبار کے پھول
انہیں بہار کے آنے کا انتظار کہاں
پگھلتی برف میں کھلتے ہیں کہسار کے پھول
انہیں قبول نہیں آفتاب کی دعوت
جلے گا دیپ تو پھولیں گے ہر سنگار کے پھول

koi bhi tujh pe meri jaan yaqin kyon na kare
tere kalam se jhaDte hain eatibar ke phul
unhen bahaar ke aane ka intizar kahan
pighalti barf mein khilte hain kohsar ke phul
unhen qubul nahin aaftab ki dawat
jalega dip to phulenge har-singar ke phul
