بھاویہ سونی

بہت دیر سے جل رہا تھا

اک چراغ

اس بند کمرے میں

سورج کا اک ٹکڑا

ہتھیلی سے بٹ کے

بتی بنا لی تھی

چاند کے کوئلے سے

آگ لگا رکھی تھی

مٹی کے گملے میں

روشنی اگا رکھی تھی

بجھا دیا تھا میں نے

خود اپنے ہی ہاتھ سے

پھر دیر تک

اس کے دھوئیں میں

دم گھٹتا رہا

اسی شام

دل کے بند کمرے میں

بجھایا تھا میں نے

ایک رشتہ

آج تک

دھوئیں سے میرا

دم گھٹتا ہے

بھاویہ سونی

bahut der se jal raha tha
ek charagh
us band kamre mein
suraj ka ek TukDa
hatheli se baT ke
batti bana li thi
chand ke koele se
aag laga rakkhi thi
miTTi ke gamle mein
raushni uga rakkhi thi
bujha diya tha main ne
KHud apne hi hath se
phir der tak
us ke dhuen mein
dam ghuTta raha
usi sham
dil ke band kamre mein
bujhaya tha main ne
ek rishta
aaj tak
dhuen se mera
dam ghuTta hai
