جام گدائی ہاتھ میں لے نت سانج سویرے پھرتے ہیں
بھورے خان آشفتہ
جام گدائی ہاتھ میں لے نت سانج سویرے پھرتے ہیں
شمس و قمر یہ دونوں بھکاری حسن کے تیرے پھرتے ہیں
مدت سے ہے اختر طالع ماہ جبیں بن گردش میں
کھول تو باہمن پوتھی اپنی کب دن میرے پھرتے ہیں
پنڈت پوچھو ہاتھ دکھاؤ فال کھلاؤ کوئی پر
دن جو ہوں برگشتہ اپنے کس کے پھیرے پھرتے ہیں
عقل و فراست سلب ہوئے سب ہائے جنوں رے وائے جنوں
گلیوں گلیوں لڑکے ہم کو گھیرے گھیرے پھرتے ہیں
یوں کاندھے پر زلفیں اس کی بل کھاتی ہیں وقت خرام
مار سیہ کو ڈال گلے میں جیسے سپیرے پھرتے ہیں
جوگ لیا آشفتہؔ ہم نے دیکھ لٹک ان زلفوں کی
گلیوں گلیوں حال پریشاں بال بکھیرے پھرتے ہیں

shams-o-qamar ye donon bhikari husn ke tere phirte hain
muddat se hai aKHtar-e-talea mah-jabin bin gardish mein
khol tu bahman pothi apni kab din mere phirte hain
panDit puchho hath dikhao fal khulao koi par
din jo hon bargashta apne kis ke phere phirte hain
aql-o-farasat salb hue sab hae junun re wae junun
galiyon galiyon laDke hum ko ghere ghere phirte hain
yun kandhe par zulfen us ki bal khati hain waqt-e-KHiram
mar-e-siyah ko Dal gale mein jaise sapere phirte hain
jog liya 'ashufta' hum ne dekh laTak un zulfon ki
galiyon galiyon haal-e-pareshan baal bikhere phirte hain
