ہم جسے تیری طرح چاہیں تجھی سا نکلے

جیسے وہ جان نظر آنکھ جھپکتا نکلے

رات کی کوکھ سے ایسا کوئی تارا نکلے

اس پہ کیا جانئے کیا کیا نہ گزرتی ہوگی

تم تو یہ سوچ رہے ہو وہ ادھر آ نکلے

چپ رہو اک دو گھڑی کے لئے رونے والو

عین ممکن ہے کوئی ہنستا ہوا آ نکلے

راہ میں پھول کھلیں گے تو چبھن بھی ہوگی

گھر میں بیٹھوں تو مری آنکھ کا کانٹا نکلے

رات جلتی ہے سلگتے ہوئے صحرا کی طرح

درد اگر ہو تو کسی آنکھ سے دریا نکلے
