حصار درد سا میں سعیٔ رائیگاں سا میں

یہ شعلہ شعلہ فضا اور دھواں دھواں سا میں

پہیلیاں سی مرے ارد گرد بکھری ہوئیں

حضور وقت کوئی لمحۂ گراں سا میں

قدم قدم نئے عنوان منہ اٹھائے ہوئے

کسی روایت کہنہ کی داستاں سا میں

کسی گزرتے ہوئے سانحے کا لمحہ تو

اور ایک لمحے کی خاطر رواں دواں سا میں

میں انتظار کی تقدیس تو شکست وفا

تو دائروں کا مکیں درد لا مکاں سا میں

تمام سمت وہی شور میں فقط میں ہوں

کہاں یہ شور کہاں ایک بے زباں سا میں

مجھے بنا کے تری آنکھ کھل گئی جیسے

بکھر گیا ہوں یہاں خواب رائیگاں سا میں

ہزاروں خواہشیں لاکھوں الم مرے ہم راہ

رگوں کا اشکؔ کہاں جانے کارواں سا میں
