ہم سے بھلی چال چلی چاندنی

سوئے تو لک چھپ کے ٹلی چاندنی

ایسے بھی کچھ لوگ ملے شہر میں

جدھر چلے ساتھ چلی چاندنی

اپنے منڈیرے بھی کبھی آئیو

وہ ہے فقیروں کی گلی چاندنی

گھلا ملا رنگ پہیلی ہوا

نپٹ اندھیروں میں پلی چاندنی

ہمیں تو کچھ ایسے پھبا گیہواں

مفت ملی مفت نہ لی چاندنی

تو ہے اگر چاند بھی ہوگا یہیں

ڈولیو مت گلی گلی چاندنی

صبح تلک پھول برستے رہے

روتی پھری کلی کلی چاندنی
