کھلے جو آہ میں باب اثر نہ پہچانے

خوشی کا رنگ غم معتبر نہ پہچانے

اڑے جو چیل تو دیکھے لہو کی جھیل میں عکس

شفق ڈھلے تو شریک سفر نہ پہچانے

اگیں جو پھول تو دھرتی بھلی بھلی سی لگے

زمیں کا درد تصور مگر نہ پہچانے

ہوس کہ زیست کرے ریل کے سفر کی طرح

سفر کے بعد شریک سفر نہ پہچانے

تمام رات کا جلتا ہوا دیا نہ بجھے

شب فراق نوید سحر نہ پہچانے

نگاہ جاتی تو ہے رک نہ جائیو اس پاس

پلٹ بھی آئیو جو وہ نظر نہ پہچانے
