جیسے گھر والے ویسا گھر جیسا گھر ویسی دیواریں

کس سے گلا کریں وہ یا میں آخر رنج نجی ہوتا ہے

اس تک اس کی راہ کی مٹی اور مجھ تک میری دیواریں

کئی بات تو گھر میں لیٹے لیٹے دم گھٹنے لگتا ہے

آگے پیچھے بڑھتی گھٹتی رہتی ہیں گھر کی دیواریں

ہر دن ہم بنجاروں ایسا کوئی سفر کر کے دیکھے تو

پاؤں تلے دھنستی سی دھرتی کاندھوں پر پکی دیواریں

مجھ کو ہتھیارا مت کہنا میرا لہو ہے ان ہاتھوں پر

جن ہاتھوں پر روک رہا ہوں چار طرف گرتی دیواریں

لاکھ بدلنا چاہو لیکن ماں کو ماں کہتے بنتی ہے

مٹی وہی وہی ہے دھرتی بدل گئیں پچھلی دیواریں

اشکؔ کوئی ہے مجھ میں جو دن چڑھتے چڑھتے ڈھ دیتا ہے

رات گئے تک چنی ہوئی بے ہنگم مٹی کی دیواریں
