کون کہتا ہے کہ یہ شوخیٔ بیداد نہیں

بسمل دہلوی

کون کہتا ہے کہ یہ شوخیٔ بیداد نہیں

تم نے ملنے کو کہا بھی تھا کہیں یاد نہیں

ہائے اس روز کا ہر واقعہ تم بھول گئے

ہائے کیا میرا تڑپنا بھی تمہیں یاد نہیں

میں خطا‌ وار اگر عہد شکن پھر سے کہوں

تم اسی ناز سے کہہ دو کہ ہمیں یاد نہیں

اف یہ اظہار تغافل کی ادائے دلکش

پھر ذرا کہئے کہ ہاں کہہ تو دیا یاد نہیں

یہ طرحداریٔ اظہار تغافل اوں ہوں

ہنس کے منہ پھیر کے شرما کے کہو یاد نہیں

اتنا تو یاد ہے اک وعدہ کیا تھا لیکن

ہم نے کیا وعدہ کیا تھا ہمیں یہ یاد نہیں

ذکر بسملؔ پہ وہ فرمانے لگے جھنجھلا کر

ہوگا کوئی چلو جانے دو ہمیں یاد نہیں

kaun kahta hai ki ye shoKHi-e-bedad nahin
tum ne milne ko kaha bhi tha kahin yaad nahin

hae us roz ka har waqia tum bhul gae
hae kya mera taDapna bhi tumhein yaad nahin

main KHatawar agar ahd-shikan phir se kahun
tum usi naz se kah do ki hamein yaad nahin

uf ye izhaar-e-taghaful ki ada-e-dil-kash
phir zara kahiye ki han kah to diya yaad nahin

ye tarahdari-e-izhaar-e-taghaful un hun
hans ke munh pher ke sharma ke kaho yaad nahin

itna to yaad hai ek wada kiya tha lekin
hum ne kya wada kiya tha hamein ye yaad nahin

zikr-e-'bismil' pe wo farmane lage jhunjhla kar
hoga koi chalo jaane do hamein yaad nahin
