اُسے میں نے برسوں بعد

اِک خط لکھا

پہلے لکھا اُسے جاں اپنی

پھر نہ جانے کیوں مٹا دیا

اُسے بے وفا بھی لکھ دیا

لکھتے لکھتےجب یاد آئی اسکی

ضبط نہ ہوا مجھ سے

آنسو بھی اک گِرا دیا

لکھا حال اپنا کمال

درد اپنا چھپا دیا

جانتے ہو کیا ہوا پھر

یہ خط بھی میں نے جلا دیا
