میرے رقیب کی ہے چال یہ

میرے رقیب کی ہے چال یہ

ساتھ میرے یار کا ہے کمال یہ

گماں نہیں مجھے یقین ہے مکمل

بدل جاتا ہے عروج یہ زوال یہ

رہ کر پاس کسی کے بدلا ہے سب

انداز یہ مزاج یہ چال یہ ڈھال یہ

گزرا ہے وقت اس قدر برا مجھ پہ

بدل گیا میں پر بدلا نہ حال یہ

کہاں کیا دل لے کر جناب نے

مسکرایا وہ بہت سن کر سوال یہ

نہیں چاہیے یادیں مجھے تیری

اللہ کے واسطے خود سنبھال یہ

بدل گیا تھا میں فقط تیری خاطر

غم کوئی نہیں اور بس ہے ملال یہ

وہم ہے تجھے عاشق ہوں میں تیرا

رکھ پاس ہی بناوٹی حُسن وجمال یہ

کھیل ہے قسمت کا ہار یا جیت ہے

تو ہرا سکے مجھے تیری کیا مجال یہ

راس نہیں آتی مجھے محبت کسی کی

چھوڑ دی میں نے فی الحال یہ

چالیں چلتا نہیں عاطف محبت میں

دیتا ہے زمانہ پیارے مثال یہ
