چودھری محمد نعیم

ابھی کچھ دن مجھے اس شہر میں آوارہ رہنا ہے

کہ اب تک دل کو اس بستی کی شامیں یاد آتی ہیں

جہاں بیلے کی جھاڑی میں کسی ناگن کی بانبی تھی

ابھی تک دل یہ کہتا ہے کہ اس بستی میں پھر جاؤ

بھرو دامن کو پھولوں سے بدن ناگن سے ڈسواؤ

جہاں اب ہوں وہاں بیلا ہے نہ ناگن کی بانبی ہے

اسی کارن یہ ظالم دل مجھے الجھائے رکھتا ہے

اسی کارن مجھے اس شہر میں آوارہ رہنا ہے

مگر جس دن یہ رشتہ یاد کا ٹوٹا تو پھر اس دن

نہ دل ہوگا نہ یہ احساس ہی کہ دل بھی رکھتے تھے

کہ میری ذات میں جو ناگ ہے وہ مجھ کو ڈس لے گا

ابھی کچھ دن مجھے اس شہر میں آوارہ رہنا ہے

abhi kuchh din mujhe is shahr mein aawara rahna hai
ki ab tak dil ko us basti ki shamen yaad aati hain
jahan bele ki jhaDi mein kisi nagin ki banbi thi
abhi tak dil ye kahta hai ki us basti mein phir jao
bharo daman ko phulon se badan nagin se Daswao
jahan ab hun wahan bela hai na nagin ki banbi hai
isi karan ye zalim dil mujhe uljhae rakhta hai
isi karan mujhe is shahr mein aawara rahna hai

magar jis din ye rishta yaad ka TuTa to phir us din
na dil hoga na ye ehsas hi ki dil bhi rakhte the
ki meri zat mein jo nag hai wo mujh ko Das lega
abhi kuchh din mujhe is shahr mein aawara rahna hai
