دل مبتلائے لذت آزار ہی رہا

داغؔ دہلوی

دل مبتلائے لذت آزار ہی رہا

مرنا فراق یار میں دشوار ہی رہا

ہر دم یہ شوق تھا اسے قربان کیجئے

میں وصل میں بھی جان سے بے زار ہی رہا

احسان عفو جرم سے وہ شرمسار ہوں

بخشا گیا میں تو بھی گنہ گار ہی رہا

ہوتی ہیں ہر طرح سے مری پاسداریاں

دشمن کے پاس بھی وہ مرا یار ہی رہا

دن پہلوؤں سے ٹال دیا کچھ نہ کہہ سکے

ہر چند ان کو وصل کا انکار ہی رہا

زاہد کی توبہ توبہ رہی گھونٹ گھونٹ پر

سو بوتلیں اڑا کے بھی ہشیار ہی رہا

دیکھیں ہزار رشک مسیحا کی صورتیں

اچھا رہا جو عشق کا بیمار ہی رہا

صدقے میں تم نے چھوڑ دیئے ہیں بہت اسیر

میں بھی رہا ہوا کہ گرفتار ہی رہا

لذت وفا میں ہے نہ کسی کی جفا میں ہے

دل دار ہی رہا نہ دل آزار ہی رہا

جلوہ کے بعد وصل کی خواہش ضرور تھی

وہ کیا رہا جو عاشق دیدار ہی رہا

کہتے ہیں جل کے غیر محبت سے داغؔ کی

معشوق اس کے پاس وفادار ہی رہا
