داغؔ دہلوی

اس کے در تک کسے رسائی ہے

وہ ہی جائے گا جس کی آئی ہے

بات اک دل میں میرے آئی ہے

گر کہوں تو ابھی لڑائی ہے

دوسری جان ہے تری الفت

ایک کھوئی ہے ایک پائی ہے

بھر دیا زخم میں نمک اس نے

یہ دعا گو کی منہ بھرائی ہے

سچ ہے بے عیب ہے خدا کی ذات

تجھ میں کیا جانے کیا برائی ہے

اے لب یار تجھ کو میری قسم

کبھی سچی قسم بھی کھائی ہے

اس کے در تک پہنچ گیا قاصد

آگے تقدیر کی رسائی ہے

قتل کرتی ہے گفتگو ان کی

بات میں بات کی صفائی ہے

داغؔ اب وصل کا وصال ہوا

یار زندہ غم جدائی ہے
