داغؔ دہلوی

محبت کا اثر جاتا کہاں ہے

ہمارا درد سر جاتا کہاں ہے

دل بیتاب سینے سے نکل کر

چلا ہے تو کدھر جاتا کہاں ہے

عدم کہتے ہیں اس کوچے کو اے دل

ادھر آ بے خبر جاتا کہاں ہے

کہوں کس منہ سے میں تیرے دہن ہے

جو ہوتا تو کدھر جاتا کہاں ہے

ترے جاتے ہی مر جاؤں گا ظالم

مجھے تو چھوڑ کر جاتا کہاں ہے

ہمارے ہاتھ سے دامن بچا کر

ارے بیداد گر جاتا کہاں ہے

تری چوری ہی سب میری نظر میں

چرا کر تو نظر جاتا کہاں ہے

اگرچہ پا شکستہ ہم ہیں اے داغؔ

مگر قصد سفر جاتا کہاں ہے
