ہے یاد یار سے اک آگ مشتعل دل میں

عجب ہے خلد و جہنم ہیں متصل دل میں

جو چپکے چپکے ہمیں کچھ کہے وہ اپ سنے

پڑے اسی کو جو کوسے گا ہم کو دل دل میں

کرو گے اب بھی برائی مئے مغاں کی شیخ

نہ کہئے منہ سے مگر ہو گے تو خجل دل میں

گئے وہ پانی تو ملتان اب گنو موجیں

کہاں وہ جوش اب اے اشک پا بہ گل دل میں

علو یہ خوب ہوا آپ تم چلے آئے

میں کہتا ہی تھا کہ آج ان سے جا کے مل دل میں

پکڑ جو کل لیا چسکی لگاتے زاہد کو

بتاؤں کیا کہ ہوا کیسا منفعل دل میں
