ہر عداوت پہ جہاں صلح کی صیقل ہو جائے

دوست سچا بھی نکل آئے تو پاگل ہو جائے

چڑھتے دریا سے ڈرے ہیں تو ہے اپنوں کی تلاش

کاش کچھ دیر کو یہ خوف مسلسل ہو جائے

مات کھا کھا کے یوں ہی روتے رہے ہیں صدیوں

ان کا دستہ بھی کسی بار ہراول ہو جائے

کیوں جھکے سر یہ کسی غیر خدا کے آگے

کیوں عقیدت میں کوئی عقل سے پیدل ہو جائے

ہم بھی آئیں گے تری نظر گزاری کو کبھی

ہاں ذرا خشک تذبذب کی یہ دلدل ہو جائے

dost sachcha bhi nikal aae to pagal ho jae

chaDhte dariya se Dare hain to hai apnon ki talash
kash kuchh der ko ye KHauf musalsal ho jae

mat kha kha ke yun hi rote rahe hain sadiyon
in ka dasta bhi kisi bar haraawal ho jae

kyon jhuke sar ye kisi ghair KHuda ke aage
kyon aqidat mein koi aql se paidal ho jae

hum bhi aaenge teri nazar-guzari ko kabhi
han zara KHushk tazabzub ki ye daldal ho jae
