درد دل کا کفیل ہوتا ہے
یاد آیا نہ کر نمازوں میں
میرا سجدہ طویل ہوتا ہے
بے وفاؤں کے ذکر میں تیرا
تذکرہ بر سبیل ہوتا ہے
عرصۂ زیست تم ذرا سوچو
ہائے کتنا طویل ہوتا ہے
اے شب غم ہر ایک پل تیرا
مجھ کو صدیاں مثیل ہوتا ہے
اشک جو عشق نے بہایا وہ
عاشقوں کا وکیل ہوتا ہے
تنہا بے چارہ سا یہ میرا دل
تیرے بن اب علیل ہوتا ہے
