جب بھی اچھی زمین ڈھونڈھیں گے

جب بھی اچھی زمین ڈھونڈھیں گے
سب تری آستین ڈھونڈھیں گے
تیرے مرنے کی سوچنا پا کر
پہلے سب گلیسرین ڈھونڈھیں گے
تجھ کو مرگھٹ پہ چھوڑ کر یہ لوگ
شام کوئی حسین ڈھونڈھیں گے
تیرے بچے بھی ایک دن تجھ میں
چلتی پھرتی مشین ڈھونڈھیں گے
تیری لگھو پترکا پڑھے گا کون
سب بڑی میگزین ڈھونڈھیں گے
آدمی اتنا ہو گیا چھوٹا
لے کے ہم دوربین ڈھونڈھیں گے
ہم کو ہر صبح ایسا لگتا ہے
آج کچھ بہترین ڈھونڈھیں گے
