عشق کو تقلید سے آزاد کر

دل سے گریہ آنکھ سے فریاد کر

باز آ اے بندۂ حسن مجاز

یوں نہ اپنی زندگی برباد کر

اے خیالوں کے مکیں نظروں سے دور

میری ویراں خلوتیں آباد کر

نزع میں ہچکی نہیں آئی مجھے

بھولنے والے خدارا یاد کر

حسن کو دنیا کی آنکھوں سے نہ دیکھ

اپنی اک طرز نظر ایجاد کر

عشرت دنیا ہے اک خواب بہار

کعبۂ دل درد سے آباد کر

اب کہاں احسانؔ دنیا میں وفا

توبہ کر ناداں خدا کو یاد کر
