رندان‌ تشنہ کام کو جا کر خبر کریں

آئی بہار ابر کرم پر نظر کریں

ہوں منفعل ضرور مگر اے گناہ عشق

اب اشک بھی نہیں ہیں جو دامن کو تر کریں

بے وجہ کب ہے پرسش حال شب فراق

مقصد یہ ہے اضافۂ درد جگر کریں

فرصت کے دن ہیں ساقی میکش نواز اٹھ

کیوں انتظار موسم دیوانہ گر کریں

مجھ پر اٹھا رہے ہیں جو محفل میں انگلیاں

اپنی حقیقتوں پہ تو آخر نظر کریں

کعبہ میں خاموشی ہے صنم خانے میں سکوت

صورت پرست اب ترے سجدہ کدھر کریں

اف رے جمال جلوۂ جاناں کی تابشیں

دیکھیں انہیں کہ ماتم تاب نظر کریں

اوراق دو جہاں پہ بھی ہوگا نہ اختتام

احسانؔ سرگذشت الم مختصر کریں
