جو بحر احتیاط میں پالی نہیں گئی

جو بحر احتیاط میں پالی نہیں گئی

اس زندگی کی ناؤ سنبھالی نہیں گئی

ساحل سے دیکھتے رہے سب ڈوبتے ہوئے

لیکن بھنور سے ناؤ نکالی نہیں گئی

ان کے ہر اک اشارے پہ سر کو جھکا دیا

مجھ سے بڑوں کی بات بھی ٹالی نہیں گئی

پرکھوں سے اپنا طور ہے دستار باندھنا

پگڑی کسی کی ہم سے اچھالی نہیں گئی

گھونگھٹ شب عروس اٹھانے کی دیر تھی

پھر چادر حجاب سنبھالی نہیں گئی
