احوال گل و لالہ غم انگیز بہت ہے

خوش دعوت یاراں بھی ہے یلغار عدو بھی

کیا کیجیے دل کا جو کم آمیز بہت ہے

یوں پیر مغاں شیخ حرم سے ہوئے یک جاں

مے خانے میں کم ظرفئ پرہیز بہت ہے

اک گردن مخلوق جو ہر حال میں خم ہے

اک بازوئے قاتل ہے کہ خوں ریز بہت ہے

کیوں مشعل دل فیضؔ چھپاؤ تہ داماں

بجھ جائے گی یوں بھی کہ ہوا تیز بہت ہے
