اے پردہ ور دید ذرا سی
جن میں ذہانت تھی وہ کرتے
کیوں اندھی تقلید ذرا سی
میں بیمار دل بچ جاتا
کر دیتے تاکید ذرا سی
اور بھی تازہ دم کرتی ہے
فن کو مرے تنقید ذرا سی
دنیا بھر کے کفر پہ تنہا
حاوی ہے توحید ذرا سی
دل کی سنوں گا لیکن پہلے
عقل کرے تائید ذرا سی
فیضؔ جو تیسوں روزہ رکھے
کیوں وہ منائیں عید ذرا سی
