خیر سے اضطراب میں گزری

راز ہستی کی جستجو میں رہے

رات تعبیر خواب میں گزری

کچھ کٹی ہمت سوال میں عمر

کچھ امید جواب میں گزری

کس خرابی سے زندگی فانیؔ

اس جہان خراب میں گزری
