کوچۂ جاناں میں جا نکلے جو غلماں بھول کر

یاد ہو اس کو نہ پھر گلزار رضواں بھول کر

سنگ دل بے مہر بے دیں بے وفا سمجھے نہ ہم

کر دئیے صدقے حسینوں پر دل و جاں بھول کر

بوسۂ ابرو کو لے کر منہ پہ کھائی ہم نے تیغ

کچھ کیا تم نے نہ پاس تیغ عریاں بھول کر

کر کے توبہ قول ہے اب حضرت دل کا یہی

اب کبھی لیں گے نہ نام عشق خوباں بھول کر

خوں رلایا عمر بھر شوکتؔ فراق یار نے

مرتے مرتے بھی نہ نکلا کوئی ارماں بھول کر
