سیراب تھا سراب کے پیچھے نہیں گیا
بے چہرگی عزیز مگر خال و خد کا غم
داغ جگر نقاب کے پیچھے نہیں گیا
رد و قبول میں بھی قناعت پسند تھا
حسن طلب جواب کے پیچھے نہیں گیا
عریاں ہے بارگاہ تماشا میں سر بہ سر
شوق جنوں حجاب کے پیچھے نہیں گیا
اس بار اختیار کی آسودگی چنی
تارا کہ مہتاب کے پیچھے نہیں گیا
