کھلی فضا میں کہیں دور جا کے رو لیں آج
دیار غیر میں اب دور تک ہے تنہائی
یہ اجنبی در و دیوار کچھ تو بولیں آج
تمام عمر کی بیداریاں بھی سہہ لیں گے
ملی ہے چھاؤں تو بس ایک نیند سو لیں آج
طرب کا رنگ محبت کی لو نہیں دیتا
طرب کے رنگ میں کچھ درد بھی سمو لیں آج
کسے خبر ہے کہ کل زندگی کہاں لے جائے
نگاہ یار ترے ساتھ ہی نہ ہو لیں آج
