کانٹوں بھری جو راہ تھی یوں ہی رکھی گئی

بس نور آبلوں میں مرے دے دیا گیا

تعبیر جس کی ایسا ہی ایک اور خواب ہو

اک اور خواب روز مجھے دے دیا گیا

دعویٰ کسی کا دن کے اجالوں پہ اب نہیں

جو کچھ بھی تھا وہ رات گئے دے دیا گیا

احساسؔ جی وہیں تھے مگر کچھ نہ پا سکے

سب کچھ انہیں جو آئے نہ تھے دے دیا گیا
