کوئی منظر بھی سہانا نہیں رہنے دیتے

آنکھ میں رنگ تماشا نہیں رہنے دیتے

چہچہاتے ہوئے پنچھی کو اڑا دیتے ہیں

کسی سر میں کوئی سودا نہیں رہنے دیتے

روشنی کا کوئی پرچم جو اٹھا کر نکلے

اس طرح دار کو زندہ نہیں رہنے دیتے

کیا زمانہ ہے یہ کیا لوگ ہیں کیا دنیا ہے

جیسا چاہے کوئی ویسا نہیں رہنے دیتے

کیا کہیں دیدہ ورو ہم تو وہ دریا دل ہیں

کبھی ساحل کو بھی پیاسا نہیں رہنے دیتے

رہزنوں کا وہی منشور ہے اب بھی فارغؔ

سر کشیدہ کوئی جادہ نہیں رہنے دیتے
