اس اوج پر نہ اچھالو مجھے ہوا کر کے

کہ میں جہاں سے ہوں اترا خدا خدا کر کے

ازل سے مجھ سے ہے وابستہ خیر و شر کا نظام

نہ دیکھو مجھ کو مری ذات سے جدا کر کے

میں جانتا ہوں مقفل ہیں سارے دروازے

مجھے یہ ضد ہے کہ گزروں مگر صدا کر کے

میں اپنے دور کے اس کرب کا ہوں آئینہ

جو پیش رو ہوئے رخصت مجھے عطا کر کے

شکست ضبط پہ میں بھی بہت خجل ہوں مگر

کھلا ہے اس کا بھرم میرا سامنا کر کے

یہ فخر کم نہیں فارغ ہے دل غریب تو کیا

کہ آبرو تو نہیں کھوئی التجا کر کے
