ہر شاخ پہ غنچے کی جگہ زخم کھلا ہے

دو گھونٹ پلا دے کوئی مے ہو کہ ہلاہل

وہ تشنہ لبی ہے کہ بدن ٹوٹ رہا ہے

اس رند سیہ مست کا ایمان نہ پوچھو

تشنہ ہو تو مخلوق ہے پی لے تو خدا ہے

کس بام سے آتی ہے تری زلف کی خوشبو

دل یادوں کے زینے پہ کھڑا سوچ رہا ہے

کل اس کو تراشو گے تو پوجے گا زمانہ

پتھر کی طرح آج جو راہوں میں پڑا ہے

دیوانوں کو سودائے طلب ہی نہیں ورنہ

ہر سینے کی دھڑکن کسی منزل کی صدا ہے
