بس ترے یار ہیں اور اس سے زیادہ کیا ہوں

ایک ہی سچ نے ہمیں ایسا کیا سرافراز

برسر دار ہیں اور اس سے زیادہ کیا ہوں

میں اکیلا ہوں مری جان کے دشمن افلاک

ایک دو چار ہیں اور اس سے زیادہ کیا ہوں

نام سنتے ہی مرا آگ بگولا ہو جائیں

مجھ سے بیزار ہیں اور اس سے زیادہ کیا ہوں

عمر بھر بات پہ قائم رہے فرتاشؔ کہ ہم

اہل کردار ہیں اور اس سے زیادہ کیا ہوں
