صف ماتم پہ جو ہم ناچنے گانے لگ جائیں

گردش وقت! ترے ہوش ٹھکانے لگ جائیں

وہ تو وہ اس کی معیت میں گزارا ہوا پل

جو بھلائیں تو بھلانے میں زمانے لگ جائیں

مرے قادر! جو تو چاہے تو یہ ممکن ہو جائے

رفتگاں شہر عدم سے یہاں آنے لگ جائیں

بزم دنیا سے چلوں ایسا نہ ہو سب مرے یار

ایک ایک کر کے مجھے چھوڑ کے جانے لگ جائیں

خواہش وصل! ترا کیا ہو جو ہم سال بہ سال

عشرۂ سوز غم ہجر منانے لگ جائیں

ہم سمجھ پائے نہ فرتاشؔ مزاج خوباں

دل چرائیں تو کبھی آنکھیں چرانے لگ جائیں
