زندگی نقل مکانی میں نہ رکھی جائے

زندہ رکھنا ہو محبت میں جو کردار مرا

ساعت وصل کہانی میں نہ رکھی جائے

یوں تو ملتے ہیں سبھی لوگ بچھڑنے کے لئے

ناگہانی یہ جوانی میں نہ رکھی جائے

بھول جانا ہے تو اے دوست بھلا دے مجھ کو

یاد اب یاد دہانی میں نہ رکھی جائے

جب کوئی ایک کشش کھینچ رہی ہے ہم کو

کیمیا فلسفہ دانی میں نہ رکھی جائے

دل بھی تھوڑا سا سبک دوش تمنا کر دے

کچھ طبیعت بھی گرانی میں نہ رکھی جائے
