عشق کی مایوسیوں میں سوز پنہاں کچھ نہیں

اس ہوا میں یہ چراغ زیر داماں کچھ نہیں

کیا ہے دیکھو حسرت سیر گلستاں کچھ نہیں

کچھ نہیں اے ساکنان کنج زنداں کچھ نہیں

عشق کی ہے خود نمائی عشق کی آشفتگی

روئے تاباں کچھ نہیں زلف پریشاں کچھ نہیں

یاد آ ہی جاتی ہے اکثر دل برباد کی

یوں تو سچ ہے چند ذرات پریشاں کچھ نہیں

سچ ہے جو کچھ بھی ہے وہ ہے گرمیٔ بازار حسن

اہل دل کا سوز پنہاں کچھ نہیں ہاں کچھ نہیں

اور ان کی زندگی ہے اور عنوان حیات

خود فراموشوں کو تیرے عہد و پیماں کچھ نہیں

ایک ہو جائے نہ جب تک سرحد ہوش و جنوں

ایک ہو کر چاک دامان و گریباں کچھ نہیں

جو نہ ہو جائے وہ کم ہے جو بھی ہو جائے بہت

کارزار عشق میں دشوار و آساں کچھ نہیں

دیکھنی تھی دیکھ لی اس چھیڑ کی بھی سادگی

بے دلوں میں یہ تبسم ہائے پنہاں کچھ نہیں

کاش اپنے درد سے بیتاب ہوتے اے فراقؔ

دوسرے کے ہاتھوں یہ حال پریشاں کچھ نہیں
