دھوپ لٹا کر امبر جب کنگال ہوا

چاند اگا کر پھر سے مالا مال ہوا

سانجھ پھسل کر ڈیوڑھی پر آ لٹکی ہے

آنگن سے چوبارے تک سب لال ہوا

یاد وہیں ٹھٹھکی ہے جہاں تم چھوڑ گئے

لمحہ دن سپتاہ مہینہ سال ہوا

دھوپ اٹک کر بیٹھا گئی ہے چھجے پر

اوسارے کا اٹھنا آج محال ہوا

چن چن کر وہ دیتا تھا ہر درد مجھے

چوٹ لگی جب خود کو تو بے حال ہوا

کل تک جو دیتا تھا اتر پرشنوں کا

آج وہی الجھا سا ایک سوال ہوا

چھٹپن میں جس کی سنگت تھی چین مرا

عمر بڑھی تو وہ جی کا جنجال ہوا
