جو کچھ مجھ سے کمایا جا رہا ہے

گایتری مہتا

جو کچھ مجھ سے کمایا جا رہا ہے

محض گھر کا کرایہ جا رہا ہے

ثبوتوں کو مٹایا جا رہا ہے

یوں سچ کا قد گھٹایا جا رہا ہے

وہ پتھر سے زیادہ کچھ نہیں ہے

تو پھر سر کیوں جھکایا جا رہا ہے

نہیں نیت مدد کی ہاتھ پھر بھی

بڑھانے کو بڑھایا جا رہا ہے

حقیقت ہم سے ہے منہ پھیر بیٹھی

سو خوابوں کو جگایا جا رہا ہے

الگ میں بھیڑ سے چلنے لگی ہوں

مجھے پاگل بتایا جا رہا ہے

mahz ghar ka kiraya ja raha hai

subuton ko miTaya ja raha hai
yun sach ka qad ghaTaya ja raha hai

wo patthar se ziyaada kuchh nahin hai
to phir sar kyon jhukaya ja raha hai

nahin niyyat madad ki hath phir bhi
baDhane ko baDhaya ja raha hai

haqiqat hum se hai munh pher baiThi
so KHwabon ko jagaya ja raha hai

alag main bhiD se chalne lagi hun
mujhe pagal bataya ja raha hai
