اس مرگ کو کب نہیں میں سمجھا

غلام ہمدانی مصحفی

اس مرگ کو کب نہیں میں سمجھا

ہر دم دم واپسیں میں سمجھا

انداز ترا بس اب نہ کر شور

اے نالۂ آتشیں میں سمجھا

تب مجھ کو اجل ہوئی گوارا

جب زہر کو انگبیں میں سمجھا

اک خلق کی سر نوشت بانچی

اپنا نہ خط جبیں میں سمجھا

جوں شانہ کبھو تہہ پینچ تیرے

اے کاکل عنبریں میں سمجھا

کیا فائدہ آہ دم بہ دم سے

ہے درد دل حزیں میں سمجھا

پھر اس میں نہ شک نے راہ پائی

جس بات کو بالیقیں میں سمجھا

جب اٹھ گئی ضد تو ہر سخن میں

سمجھا تو کہیں کہیں میں سمجھا

موئے کمر اس کا کیا ہے اے عقل

سمجھا تو مجھے نہیں میں سمجھا

لکھی غزل اس میں مصحفیؔ جلد

جس کو کہ نئی زمیں میں سمجھا
