پھر یہ کیسا ادھیڑ بن سا لگا

جان غم دیدہ کو جو گھن سا لگا

اس گلی میں جو میں اٹھا گاہے

پائے خوابیدہ مجھ کو سن سا لگا

اس نے جس وقت اور سر کھینچا

نخل قد اس کا سرو بن سا لگا

اس کے چھلے کے ہیں جو گل کھائے

داغ ہر اک بدن پہ ہن سا لگا

آخر عمر اپنی نظروں میں

جامۂ زندگی کہن سا لگا

کشتیٔ چشم تر کھنچی ہے ادھر

ہے جدھر تار اشک گن سا لگا

یار دھرماتما کا پیار کے ساتھ

بوسہ دینا بھی مجھ کو پن سا لگا

جب دل سوختہ پہ زخم مژہ

نظر آیا وہ صاف پن سا لگا

میں سنا مصحفیؔ کو پیری میں

مجھ کو خیلے وہ خوش سخن سا لگا
