شکوہ گلہ مطالبہ فریاد کچھ تو ہو
جینا اگر ہے اے دل برباد کچھ تو ہو
شیرین و دل نواز کوئی خواب ہی سہی
آخر تسلیٔ دل ناشاد کچھ تو ہو
خوش آ سکی نہ لذت تحسین نا شناس
تعریف بھی اگر ہو تو بنیاد کچھ تو ہو
ہاں مسکراؤ کھل کے سر دار دوستو
دل کش تمہارے قتل کی روداد کچھ تو ہو
آؤ نا گائیں نغمۂ آزادیٔ چمن
کنج قفس میں خاطر صیاد کچھ تو ہو
حسرت سے تک رہی ہے مری التجا حضور
کب تک خموش رہیے گا ارشاد کچھ تو ہو
احباب کے دلوں پہ کوئی نقش چھوڑ جا
اے رازؔ تیرے ذکر کی بنیاد کچھ تو ہو

shirin-o-dil-nawaz koi KHwab hi sahi
aaKHir tasalli-e-dil-e-nashad kuchh to ho
KHush aa saki na lazzat-e-tahsin-e-na-shanas
tarif bhi agar ho to buniyaad kuchh to ho
han muskurao khul ke sar-e-dar dosto
dilkash tumhaare qatl ki rudad kuchh to ho
aao na gaen naghma-e-azadi-e-chaman
kunj-e-qafas mein KHatir-e-sayyaad kuchh to ho
hasrat se tak rahi hai meri iltija huzur
kab tak KHamosh rahiyega irshad kuchh to ho
ahbab ke dilon pe koi naqsh chhoD ja
ai 'raaz' tere zikr ki buniyaad kuchh to ho
