ابھی شب ہے مئے الفت انڈیلیں

مگر دن میں گھروں کے راستے لیں

چلو رک جائیں بہر‌ دید ہم بھی

دریچے پر جھکی جاتی ہیں بیلیں

خدایا کاش یہ ہیرے سی آنکھیں

محبت کی کڑی بازی نہ کھیلیں

ارادہ ہے نہ پہچانیں اسے ہم

تمنا کو یہ ضد باہوں میں لے لیں

بہت عرصہ رہے ہیں ساتھ اس کے

سو اب تنہائی بھی کچھ روز جھیلیں

ہے دل میں ضبط اور آنکھوں میں آنسو

تصادم کو بڑھی آتی ہیں ریلیں

یہ گھر ہیں یا بہ وقت شام ساجدؔ

سواگت کے لئے کھلتی ہیں جیلیں
