چراغ باقی رہا نہ اب آئنہ رہے گا

مگر شگفت جمال کا سلسلہ رہے گا

ہزار چوکس رہیں کڑی تیرگی کے داعی

مرے تصور میں ایک روزن کھلا رہے گا

یقین آیا ہے آج الواح سنگ پڑھ کر

کہ اس نگر میں بس ایک نام خدا رہے گا

یہی رہے گا اگر مری بے کسی کا عالم

دعائیں بچ پائیں گی نہ دست دعا رہے گا

سیاہ پڑنے لگے گی شمع وصال کی ضو

کھلا ہوا رات بھر جو رنگ حنا رہے گا

مری طرح نیند آ نہیں پائے گی اسے بھی

میں جانتا ہوں وہ صبح تک جاگتا رہے گا

کہاں مٹانے سے مٹ سکے گا وہ نقش دل سے

غبار سا آئنے پہ اک عکس کا رہے گا

خیال رہتا ہے نیند میں اب اسی پری کا

جو پھول اب شاخ پر کھلے گا کھلا رہے گا

سفر ہو پاتال کا کہ سیر فلک ہو ساجدؔ

جہاں رہوں گا زمین سے رابطہ رہے گا
