چراغ خانۂ دل کو سپرد باد کر دوں

یہ قیدی بھی کسی کے نام پر آزاد کر دوں

بہت ہم سے گریزاں یہ زمین و آسماں ہیں

اجازت ہو تو اک دنیا نئی آباد کر دوں

جدھر نکلوں سواد ہجر ہی کا سامنا ہے

کوئی صورت یہاں بھی وصل کی ایجاد کر دوں

مرے مایوس رہنے پر اگر وہ شادماں ہے

تو کیوں خود کو میں اس کے واسطے برباد کر دوں

بہت چہرے نگاہوں میں ابھرتے ڈوبتے ہیں

اگر کچھ دیر کو روشن چراغ یاد کر دوں

بہت دن سے مصر اس بات پر وہ مہرباں ہے

کہ میں دل کو رہین صحبت ناشاد کر دوں
