عشق کی دسترس میں کچھ بھی نہیں

جان من! میرے بس میں کچھ بھی نہیں

اک تری یاد کا تسلسل ہے

اور تار نفس میں کچھ بھی نہیں

راز دار بہار رفتہ نہ ہو

یوں تو اس خار و خس میں کچھ بھی نہیں

پرورش پا رہا ہے نخل زیاں

نفع کیا اس برس میں کچھ بھی نہیں

آخر کار ہارنے کے سوا

اختیار ہوس میں کچھ بھی نہیں

عشق پر اختیار ہے کس کا

فائدہ پیش و پس میں کچھ بھی نہیں

کس لیے چل پڑا ہوں میں ساجدؔ

جب صدائے جرس میں کچھ بھی نہیں
